Family Reunion - Estes Park, Colorado.

Hard to believe how fast the summer is flying by.  We have definitely been busy.  I have had no time to blog/post photos so far this summer.  It seems the older Lucas gets, the less time I find to blog.  Not to mention busy at work and some traveling.

We lost my grandfather in June (thank you to all of you who sent cards and emails).  So the three of us flew out to San Diego for what seemed like 24 hours.  I was so glad we could change our plans to attend the funeral since we were unable to go to my Grandmothers a year ago (I was a week away from having Lucas and unable to fly).  It was so great to be with family and support my mom and dad through this tough time.  I am just glad my Grandparents are together and "home".

We then joined Casey's family in Colorado for our planned Family Reunion @ The YMCA of The Rockies.

Little did we know that Luke was coming down with something in San Diego.  We were so busy shlepping from airport to airport, we just assumed it was a lot for a 14 month old.  We landed in Colorado and Luke had a 103 degree temperature.  We took him to the nurse's station and was informed that he had an earache.  That explained the no eating, waking up every hour during the night and just all around cranky.  Needless to say, vacation was not a "vacation" in any sense of the word.  It's a good thing we had great company and a beautiful setting.

Here are just a some of my favorite shots from the week:

to cross in front of our car one night.

Casey's Grandparents have been coming here for 50 years.  April + Casey hope to carry on the tradition. We can't wait till the boys are older and can enjoy more of the activities.  We definitely look forward to going back soon.
