Luke in his swimsuit + ready for "splash day" at St. Christopher's.

Well today was the day I have always dreaded. Luke is now a big boy and attending school. When he started walking at 12 months, it was like a new child. I could no longer keep up with him at the store. He found the stairs and would climb them while I was helping customers. Needless to say, it was becoming too much!
We went back-n-forth on if we should find someone to watch him at home or send him to school. With Kari, my business partner, having young twin boys herself, the schedule was not easy to figure out. We decided in the end he was ready to be around other kids + get socialized. We have him in day care at church, so he has done this sort of thing before.
He cried this morning.
Mommy did not - surprise, surprise!
The school has already called and said he is having so much fun!
I miss him like crazy, but life is going to be so much easier at the store.
And he is going to love playing all day without hearing
"no. lucas. stop. don't touch that."
