Lucas' Room: The Beginning

So Casey and I are slowly getting around to completing Lucas' room. His room is the last room in the new house that we still need to decorate. Although we are no where near done, I thought I would post a few photos we have taken so far.

One wall has chocolate/white stripes & the other wall is solid chocolate.

Baby Bump - Watch us grow!

So next week we hit month 7. It is hard to believe really! It has just flown by although I am sure the next 3 months will feel like eternity just waiting for Baby Lucas to arrive. We have been trying to take pictures of my belly month by month. I didnt start seeing a change really till month 4. Check out the baby bump below and watch us grow!

Obsession: Baby Products

Working for a baby clothing store and now anticipating the arrival of Lucas, I am so obsessed with adorable baby websites and the products these companies offer. I am being very good about NOT purchasing everything I see. I waited till month 5 - when we found we were having a boy - to make my first purchase: baby clothes. But besides that, I am very proud of my ability to resist the temptation to buy everything in sight. But if I were to shop non-stop, these are some of the things I would buy:

Our New House: Before

We took pictures of our house before we moved all the "stuff" in. Below are pictures of our blank slate. Since we hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year - 3 weeks after we moved in - I am proud to say we "nested" very fast. Thanks to my husband who had a "Honey Do List" every night after work. Together we pulled it off! We make such a great team.

Where did 2009 go???

I have been a bit busy. As you can see my last post was July. Since then alot has happened:










August 28th - Casey and I found out we are pregnant!
September 24th - We purchased our 1st house!
October 31st - We moved in to our new home!
November 26th - Casey and I hosted our 1st Thanksgiving at our new house for both families.
December 15th - We found out we are having a boy! Lucas Reed is still expected to arrive late April.

It is hard to believe that it is now 2010. So much is going to change for us this year! We cannot wait!
